M001がやってきた！（androidタブレットです） [Android]
仕事でAndroid携帯の開発をやっていることもありますが、手持ちの楽天ポイント4300pが今月末で消滅するということでAndroidタブレットを注文していたところ本日届きました。３日間で到着です。
【EKEN】M001(ブラック) Google Androidタブレット
詳しいスペックは上記リンクでご確認下さい。ショップによりファームウェアのバージョンなどは多少異なるようです。カメラ、Bluetoothはありませんが、Android V1.6のアプリを動かすことが出来ます。
画面サイズ：7インチ(800×480ピクセル)16:9タッチスクリーンTFTディスプレイ
本体重量：約360g
OS：Android V1.6
カメラ：無し
Bluetooth：無し
電源ONしたところなかなか立ち上がらない。う～ん、おかしい。初期不良か？しかし、ショップが用意してくれてる以下のサイトからOSをダウンロードし再インストールを行うと起動しました。この辺は初心者に少し敷居が高いかも。

上記からダウンロードしたOSをインストールするとファームウェアバージョンが1.7.4になっていました。このバージョンからAndroid Marketが使用できるようです。
まずは以下の設定を変更しました。
・タイムゾーンをTokyoに変更
・Languageを日本語に変更
・自宅の無線LANにWi-Fi接続
次にAndroid Marketに接続しsimejiを検索してインストール(Googleアカウントが必要)することで、日本語入力が可能になりました。ここまでは簡単に出来ます。
本日触った使用感を書いておきます。
・起動まで約1分30秒。待てない時間ではないですね。
・縦横切り替えが遅い。切り替わらないことがある。
・タッチパネルが加圧式ということで、スクロールが非常に操作しにくい。つい押下になってしまいます。
・背面が熱くなる。持ってられない程ではないですが、大丈夫かと心配になります。
・とにかく軽い。片手で持っていても疲れません。
・電池がすぐ切れる。しかし、自宅で使用する分には問題無いでしょう。
とにかく素人には少し敷居が高いですが、約１万円で購入できることからユーザーが多いのかインターネットで検索すれば使用方法に困ることは無いでしょう。
また、以下のようにアイディアアプリでボロ儲けした事例があるだけに、プログラムに自信がある人は入門機として挑戦してみてはいかがでしょうか？
